I'd love to take credit for the the ideas, but my friend is the Master (cue Darth Vader). I'm helping him construct his haunt, and having a lot of (ouch!) fun with prickly chicken wire!

Made it at a party last weekend. Pretty good! The original recipe calls for grape soda, but it was slightly too sweet for me. Try substituting for Ginger Ale, or maybe Raspberry Ginger ale:

1 two-liter bottle of grape soda (or ginger ale)
1 packet of cherry Kool-Aid
1 12 oz of frozen berries (a mix ...

At a Halloween party once, I saw somebody dressed as a bloody scuba diver. One arm was torn off with ligaments still showing, and the opposite leg had a shark currently munching up to the thigh. The big day is almost here! Is everybody excited? Here in Winnipeg, it's been too warm and sunny the past week, but now the cold winds are blowing in. Ba ha ha, perfect for Halloween night. (Hopefully not too cold, like last year, grr!)

When I host parties, I keep it pretty unstructured. If everybody knows everybody else, they'll have a great time. Witchy is right, begin with Halloween-themed music mixed with Rod Zombie, Ozzy, etc, then turn to more generic dance music later on.

Oh, make sure you have someone helping you host ...

I've come across that site, too. Wow, to think once upon a time those were about all you could find, if you didn't make it yourself! (What would the department stores selling them be back then? Woolco?)
